I got a lot of enjoyment out of doing my last website (which I haven’t mentioned in my blog, so here it is: cumbriavaleting.co.uk), most probably to do with the fact that I used WordPress for the first time to create a site instead of Joomla, the latter being overly complicated (to my mind, anyway). So, I thought I’d re-do my own site using WordPress, simply ‘cos it’s much easier to update. HOORAY, FOR WORDPRESS!!!! Also, I think it’ll be much easier to add an online shop which, I hope, will be coming very soon.

I mentioned in a recent post too, that I’d have pages on Facebook, Deviant Art and Etsy, none of which have transpied, as yet, mostly because I wanted to do my site again and have a shop on here before-hand and partly also ‘cos I’m very reluctant to go on Facebook, particularly as a showcase to my work. You may know, but once you put anything on Facebook, they then have a license to use it and can sub-license it to other parties as well, not to mention your information. Of course, it’s great for the networking side of things, and that’s the positive aspect, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. Maybe it’ll never happen; at least, not under my real name 😉

Lastly, my painting of Lydia (from Beetlejuice) is finally finished, so more of that soon and I began again on a painting I started last year of Winona Ryder back in the day. My first Art & Craft Fair is now behind me too (thank you to Ali for shooing me along on that score and for her wonderful company), so things are moving on.

I think that’ll do for now. I’m outta here,
