Just a wee note to say that the WSA 2025 Exhibition has finished and the votes for the People’s Choice Award are in and have been counted. And….I came first! Yay!!! I rarely sell much work, never mind winning 1st prize in something, so forgive me if I’m a little excited and mention it here. The picture that the public chose was (snippet posted above) Blacksocks and Daisies, which was actually my favourite of the ones I’d entered. I was a tad taken aback truth be told (but thrilled in equal measure) as there were some really good paintings on show by other artists as well.

And, as the Williamson Open is still on (finishes Dec 13th), who knows, it’s within the realms of possibility I may win the people’s award (Kriterion Award as they call it) there as well. One can dream 😁

So, a big ‘thank you’ to anyone who voted for me at the WSA Exhibition: I’m very grateful and humbled, too.

P.S.

I feel I’ve got to say something about the planned introduction of digital ID’s here in the UK (and I’m going to add this now to all my posts from now on until this insanity is defeated). It’s imperative for our freedom in this country, and indeed the world at large, that we say ‘no’ to these digital ID’s. Otherwise we’re just allowing an invisible prison to be built around us all the while believing ourselves to be free, like rats in a maze, free to roam wherever the little plastic tunnels allow them to go.
