Generally speaking, the commissions I do will be people or pet portraits, though I guess I’m up for other things if anyone wants to ask and I’ll see what I can do.
For portraits, I’ll need (ideally) a high quality image or photograph that you can either pass on to me in person or upload via the Contact page using the ‘Browse’ button beneath the message section. You can always attach it to an email as well, the icon for which is near the bottom of the same page. If sending images digitally, then jpg’s or png’s would be best.
All paintings are printed on archival paper (Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm). These prints are also often called ‘giclee’ (a French word pronounced ‘zhee-clay’) and have been tested to last as least 200 years. Click here for more info about these prints and my working practice. I can print A4, A3 and A2. The size you choose will affect the total price, though nothing drastic. At the end of the day, whatever size the painting is printed on, I’ll still be doing the same painting.
The prices below are a general guideline and by no means set in stone. If, for instance, there’s more than one pet or person in a picture or if there’s a particular background wanted (I usually do an abstract/neutral kind of thing) or other elements that add to the complexity of a painting, it will affect the price. Just send me the image and I’ll give you a fixed price.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
