My love for Victorian artist John William Waterhouse’s work is well documanted on this site and, on my old site, I’d done a page devoted to some of his lesser known/seen pictures, primarily sketches, many of which I’d seen at the 2009 retrospective in Gronigen and London. When I did this new site, I never re-did the Waterhouse page ‘cos I didn’t think it fitted in with the site as a business, particularly the website side of things. Now I’ve decided I don’t care so, here it is. And by-the-way, for those familiar with Waterhouse’s work, I’ve put The Mystic Wood and Mariamne on here because I thought they were such good and clear photographs. Enjoy
